My Mission

My personal and professional goal is to partner with you in advocating for your child's academic, social and emotional success!

My Services

At Psychoeducational Assessments, LLC the focus is on administering the most current, valid, and reliable assessments to determine eligibility for school programs and services and designing best strategies based on students' strengths and weaknesses. I am also available to parents for consultation on their child's existing Individualized Education Plan (IEP), or in developing an initial IEP or Educational Plan (EP).

Types of Evaluation

Cognitive

Also known as IQ tests, these standardized tests help determine a student's intellectual ability. IQ tests are highly reliable in predicting academic success. Most school districts require an IQ test to admit a student into their Gifted Program.

Academic

Utilizing a standardized instrument, students are evaluated in the areas of reading, writing and math. These results are typically compared to curriculum-based assessments to generate a comprehensive profile of the student's academic performance.

Behavioral/Social/Emotional

When academic strategies are  not enough or there are reported concerns regarding the student's behavior, his or her social/emotional/behavioral functioning may be additionally assessed  to determine its potential impact on school performance. These assessments may include standardized parent/teacher/student behavior rating scales, observations, clinical interview, and attention-related assessments (e.g. ADHD) for possible need for classroom accommodations.

Thank you for considering Psychoeducational Assessments, LLC. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with your child!
